It has been revealed that pop star Mariah Carey earns billions of won annually with just one song, the global representative carol ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’.

According to a report by American economic media outlet CNBC on the 26th (Korean time), citing Billboard estimates and other figures, Mariah Carey earned between $2.7 million and $3.3 million (about 3.94 billion to 4.82 billion won) with the song in 2022.

‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’, released in 1994, has enjoyed undiminished popularity for 30 years, topping Billboard‘s ‘Hot 100’ every Christmas season.
