Singer Lee Seung-hwan has decided to file a constitutional appeal regarding his Gumi concert that was canceled on the 25th. On the 29th, Lee Seung-hwan‘s legal representative, attorney Lim Jae-seong of Haemaru Law Firm, announced that he would file a constitutional appeal next month to “confirm that Gumi Mayor Kim Jang-ho’s forced pledge request from Lee Seung-hwan is unconstitutional.” Attorney Lim claimed that “the Gumi mayor demanded that I sign a pledge that stated, ‘I will not engage in political agitation or political misunderstanding,’” and that he canceled the rental of the Gumi Culture and Arts Center Grand Concert Hall when I refused to sign. Lee Seung-hwan‘s side has also filed a damages lawsuit against Mayor Kim.
