Trot singer Lim Young-woong has decided to go ahead with his concert as scheduled after much thought.
On the 31st, his agency Fish Music said, “First of all, we would like to express our deepest condolences to the victims and their bereaved families of the recent unfortunate accident. We also sincerely sympathize with the pain of all those who are grieving.”.
They stated, “We have decided to go ahead with the scheduled Lim Young-woong concert after much deliberation in order to keep our precious promise with the fans who have waited for a long time, and with all the staff and people involved in preparing for the concert. “We will deeply engrave your condolences in our hearts, and we will do our best with a heavy heart to prepare so that this concert can be a moment of genuine comfort and hope. I sincerely hope that we can all become one and overcome this difficult time together.”
The agency also informed that ticket holders who do not wish to attend this concert can receive a full refund without a cancellation fee.
Lim Young-woong held ‘Lim Young-woong Recital [RE:CITAL]’ from the 27th to the 29th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul. He plans to continue performing at the same venue from January 2nd to 4th, 2025.
