BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo receives an ‘IdolPick’ birthday event.

According to idolpick, a star voting web service that ‘picks your own idol’, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo was selected as the event‘s main character in a special vote for those born in January.

The related voting was held from December 16 to December 25, 2024. ▲ If 40,000 picks are achieved, the idol’s pop-up congratulatory banner will be posted on the idolpick app and the main webpage, online articles, and a 1-day advertisement on the Seodaemun Station billboard in Seoul will be supported. ▲ If 100,000 picks are achieved, the billboard advertisement support will be provided for 3 days, including the anniversary, at the same location. ▲ If 1st place in the final rankings is achieved, an outdoor LED billboard advertisement in Myeongdong, Seoul will be provided for 7 days.

As a result of the voting, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo received a total of 48,006 picks and received a reward for achieving 40,000 picks. Accordingly, on January 3rd, the day of her birthday, there will be events such as a birthday celebration video broadcast on the outdoor electronic board at Seodaemun Station in Seoul and a congratulatory pop-up on the Idol Pick app.

Jisoo, who debuted with BLACKPINK, is also very active as a soloist. In 2025, she plans to increase her presence as an actress through the Coupang Play series ‘Newtopia’ and the movie ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’.
