Lee Chang-sub Completes 6-City Nationwide Tour Concert… Seoul Encore Concert in February!

Singer and musical actor Lee Chang-sub will be concluding his nationwide tour in Seoul.

Lee Chang-sub held his first solo nationwide tour, ‘The Wayfarer’, from November 30th last year to the 5th of this month, starting in Seoul and traveling to 6 cities including Gwangju, Busan, Daegu, Suwon, and Cheongju. He will wrap up the entire tour by holding another ‘The Wayfarer’ encore concert in Seoul on February 7th, 8th, and 9th.

Through the ‘The Wayfarer’ tour, Lee Chang-sub proved his worth as a ‘live powerhouse’ with his solid singing ability and deep emotions. He showed off his musical spectrum regardless of genre, performing all the songs with a band session. The performances, including the double title tracks ‘33’ and ‘OLD TOWN’ from his first solo full-length album ‘1991’, as well as the independently written ‘Yes, As Always, Always’, ‘Cheon Sang Yeon’, which is consistently loved on the music charts, and ‘Did I Love You’ covered with Lee Chang-sub‘s own delicate vocals, drew favorable reviews.

Lee Chang-sub’s warm visuals and stage manners, as he wore different costumes for each regional performance, also stood out. In Cheongju, Lee Chang-sub wore a hanbok to celebrate the New Year and performed ‘Bbaeng Bbaeng (BUMPBUMP). In Gwangju, he wore a local specialty, Mudeungsan watermelon, in Busan, a baseball uniform, in Daegu, a Santa Claus, and in Suwon, a suit concept. In addition to ‘BUMPBUMP’, the ‘Saturday night’, and ‘STAY’ (幻)’ (STAY) stages increased the immersion with Lee Chang-sub‘s charming performance.

In the meantime, at the end of the Cheongju performance on the 5th, a poster announcing the encore concert ‘The Wayfarer’ in Seoul in February was surprisingly revealed. Through this, Lee Chang-sub foreshadowed a reunion with the audience at the Olympic Handball Stadium in Olympic Park, which will be even larger than the previous Seoul concert.

Lee Chang-sub, who finished the last performance of the national tour, said, “It was a time that seemed like it would last long, but it seems to have passed in the blink of an eye. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Melody who has traveled with me every time and to all the audience who enjoyed the performances. I would also like to thank all the staff who worked hard for the performances.” He continued, “We will show you an even more upgraded and cooler side of ourselves during the three-day Seoul encore concert from February 7th to 9th. Let’s meet again in a month.”

Meanwhile, Lee Changsub‘s solo concert tour ‘The Wayfarer’ will continue on February 7th, 8th, and 9th at the Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul Olympic Park, and before that, it will be held at ZEPP NEW TAIPEI in Taiwan on February 2nd.
