The group EPEX has successfully held solo concerts for the third consecutive year.

EPEX (Wish, Geum Dong-hyun, Mu, Amin, Baek Seung, Aiden, Ye-wang, Jeff) held their third solo concert, ‘Youth Deficiency’, at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 28th and 29th of last month.

EPEX, which has been holding concerts every year since 2022, met with fans again in a larger concert hall that day. EPEX, which was active last year with its 1st and 2nd regular albums, showed off its upgraded skills and confidence through story-filled song selections, new performances, and arrangements, including new songs, in this ‘Youth Deficiency’.

EPEX, which has dealt with various themes surrounding youth in its albums so far, organized the set list for this concert according to the flow from deficiency and anxiety to effort, comfort and separation, growth and support. Starting with ‘Attosecond’, the stage delivered an overwhelming sense of immersion with ‘Gakuen Uta’, ‘FULL METAL JACKET’, ‘Surrender’ where one could enjoy the intense performance of Apex.

Next, the choreography for ‘KILLSHOT’, newly prepared for the fans, captured everyone‘s attention. The hip ‘Dominate’ of the rap unit within the team, Geum Dong-hyun, Baek Seung, Aiden, and Jeff, and the emotional ‘My Secret’ of the vocal unit Wish, Mu, Amin, and Ye-wang also captivated fans’ hearts with their own charms.

In the latter half, the title song of the second full-length album, ‘UNIVERSE’, along with ‘Loner’, ‘About Lost Things’, which contain messages that Apex wants to convey to the youth, were performed. Along with this, Apex said, “We included the story that we grow when we acknowledge and accept our shortcomings in the album and wanted to include it in this concert as well. I hope that my feelings were conveyed to everyone,” he said, sharing a heartfelt message with his fans.

During the encore time, Apex performed ‘Romantic Girl’ and ‘Amazing Daily Life’ for the first time on a live stage, followed by ‘To Youth’, ‘The Day the Fox Gets Married’, and ‘Love Song’, completing a performance that kept everyone glued to the stage until the end.

After successfully wrapping up the Seoul concert, Apex will continue their global activities by holding their solo concert ‘Lack of Youth’ at ZEF DiverCity in Tokyo, Japan on March 14. They have also recently been showing off their various charms through the web variety show ‘Please Take Care of the Students!’.
