‘Full group renewal’ Stray Kids, chewing up 2024 and rising even higher in 2025

Group Stray Kids announced their all-out activities in the new year.

On the 6th at midnight, Stray Kids posted the video ‘Stray Kids “STEP OUT 2025”’ on their official SNS channel and introduced the various projects they will be carrying out this year.

First, they looked back on a film that captured the glorious moments of last year and highlighted their achievements. They held their fourth official fan meeting in March and visited 11 regions at home and abroad through their new world tour ‘Stray Kids World Tour ’, which started at KSPO DOME in Seoul in August. Among them, they held grand solo concerts in Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Kaohsiung, and Bangkok at stadiums.

The three albums they released last year achieved unprecedented results on the US Billboard. In May, the English single ‘Lose My Breath (Feat. Charlie Puth)’ (Loose My Breath (featuring Charlie Puth)) ranked 90th on the ‘Hot 100’, successfully ranking on that chart for the second time overall, and in July, with the mini-album ‘ATE’ (Eight), they entered the ‘Billboard 200’ chart for the fifth consecutive time, and the title song ‘Chk Chk Boom’ (Chik Chk Boom) entered the ‘Hot 100’ chart for the third time overall and recorded their highest ranking of 49th. Stray Kids, who topped the Billboard 200 once again in December with SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’, became the first artist in the 69-year history of the chart to have six consecutive albums enter the top spot since their debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

In addition, the group released music videos for the member solo tracks included in SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’, 1 KID‘S ROOM and 2 KIDS SHOW, SKZOO pop-up stores held in Seoul and Busan, the theme song ’Come Play‘ for Season 2 of the Netflix animation series ’Arcane‘(ARCANE) based on the game ’League of Legends‘(LoL) universe, and the movie ’Deadpool and Wolverine‘ OST ’SLASH‘, the first K-pop boy group to attend France‘s ’Yellow Coin Collection Charity Event‘(Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes), ’I-Days‘(I Days) in Milan, Italy, ’BST Hyde Park‘(British Summer Time Hyde Park) in London, England, and ’Lollapalooza Chicago 2024‘(Lollapalooza Chicago 2024) in the United States, they have been very active worldwide.

Stray Kids announced the start of a new chapter by renewing their contract with JYP Entertainment as a full group in July of last year. They will take the next big step in 2025. Continuing their ’largest‘ world tour’‘ with a total of 48 performances in 32 regions around the world, they will embark on a large-scale stadium tour in 20 regions of Latin America, North America, and Europe starting in March. They will open signature content that will further increase fan satisfaction by holding an encore performance in Korea and a fifth fan meeting.
