BVGIRLS Minyoung revealed concept photos and Q&A ahead of her comeback.

BBGIRLS (Minyoung, Eunji, Yuna) revealed Minyoung‘s concept photos for their second single ‘LOVE 2’ through their official SNS at midnight on the 7th.

In the photos, Minyoung is wearing a tweed jacket and skirt, holding a rose, and staring at the camera. Her deep gaze and flowing hair create a mysterious atmosphere, captivating the hearts of those who see her. In another photo, Minyoung shows off her fresh charm by sitting among flower petals. In particular, Minyoung raised expectations for the new album by showing off her goddess-like aura as well as her splendid visuals.

‘LOVE 2’ is BVG’s new album released approximately 1 year and 5 months after the double single ‘ONE MORE TIME’ in 2023, and is also their first album since joining GLG. They are scheduled to release their second single ‘LOVE 2’ simultaneously worldwide on the 15th at 6PM. Below is Minyoung‘s Q&A.


Q. How do you feel about your comeback after such a long time?

A. Comebacks are always exciting, but this time it seems a little different. Maybe it’s because of the new change within the team with the three-member reorganization, but I feel more pressure and nervous. However, since it‘s a welcome stage after such a long time, I want to focus on my activities and show a good side of myself based on my excitement.


Q. What are the points to watch for in this album?

A. The lyrics. It seems to express the excitement of love, but there are parts that indirectly express BVG’s current feelings and situations behind the scenes. Whenever I sing those parts, my heart races and I feel touched.


Q. Is there an artist you‘d like to collaborate with?

A. I’d like to collaborate with Day6. They seem like a team that‘s serious about music, and they’re even good at it. Their music has the appeal of captivating the public. I especially like their songs, and I like the band genre itself, so it would be great if there was a good opportunity.


Q. Do you have any new nicknames or adjectives?

A. Previously, I liked ‘John Beodol’, ‘Hopedol’, and ‘Summerqueens’ the most. Now, rather than being thick and short, I hope to be a ‘long-lived idol’ that can be active for a long time even if it‘s thin.


Q. What are your New Year’s wishes for 2025?

A. I hope that BVG can show more of itself in various fields, including music, this year. Also, my personal wish is to get through this year safely without any major accidents or illnesses.


Q. If you have something to say to the fans who have waited for BVG for a long time?

A. When I think of the Pp (fandom name), I feel sorry and grateful for having caused you so much emotional distress. But you never left and have always supported me silently, so I think that strength has become the driving force that keeps the team going no matter what the circumstances are. With a stronger inner self, I want to create many fun and memorable moments together in 2025.
