KCM Releases Teaser for ‘To a Person Called Me’... Official Release on the 10th

Singer KCM will be releasing his new song ‘To a Person Called Me’ on the 10th.

In the teaser video released on the 6th, KCM appears lost in thought, staring into the distance on a rooftop with snow falling. He delivers a verse of ‘To a Person Called Me’ with a sobbing voice and string sounds flowing along an oriental melody.

The new song ‘To a Person Called Me’ is KCM‘s first single to be released at the start of 2025. Unlike the sorrowful love songs he has previously sung, KCM has included meditative lyrics and a message of healing in his new song.

The old rooftop and shabby clothing revealed in the teaser video were intended to convey the message that this song is ‘a song for the most marginalized people.’ KCM said that his autobiographical story was the background. The despair of the protagonist who faces the wall of cold reality and the hope contained in the song are expressed in an extremely realistic way.

‘To a person called me’ is also a song that signals another beginning for KCM, who started his 20th anniversary debut album early last year and concluded his 20th anniversary activities with solo concerts in Seoul and Busan in December.

His agency A2Z Entertainment explained, “KCM wanted to express the process of facing himself and healing his inner wounds in this song,” and “Everyone’s story is different, but this is a song for all those who endure their daily lives with unspeakable pain in their hearts.”

Meanwhile, the sound source of KCM‘s new song ‘To a person called me’ will be released at 6 PM on the 10th, and the full music video, in which KCM directly participated in directing and writing the story, will also be released through the official YouTube channel.
