‘JYP‘s new boy group’ Kickflip revealed photos... Boyish beauty and cool charm
JYP Entertainment’s (hereafter JYP) new boy group Kickflip has revealed photos of the music video for the track ‘Eung Grrr’.
Kickflip will be releasing their first mini-album ‘Flip it, Kick it!’ on January 20th and making their debut. JYP, the agency, released the music video for the track ‘Eung Grrr’, member profile images, and the album scheduler on the official SNS channel on the 6th, and then unveiled the ‘Eung Grrr’ music video photos at midnight on the 7th.
In the photos, Gye-hoon, Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Min-je, K-ju, and Dong-hyun exude confident and bright energy against a kitschy background. The free-spirited mood was fully expressed in various poses and expressions, and the freshness and passion of the new artist can be seen in the song ‘Yeah, That‘s Right’.
The included song ‘Yeah, That’s Right’ is an impressive song with lyrics that cheerfully, refreshingly, and pleasantly deal with nagging that you don‘t want to hear, as well as a lingering beat, humorously expressing the message ‘I won’t care about obvious nagging and I‘ll go my own way’. The pre-released music video was fun to watch as the seven members freely ran around and gave off pleasant energy, and as of the morning of the 7th, it ranked 4th on the list of most popular videos on YouTube in Korea.
JYP’s ambitious new artist ‘Kickflip’ completed their team name by borrowing the difficult technical term for rotating a board 360 degrees, and conveys their bold ambition to be unconstrained by existing norms and to make new achievements, as if they were turning a board once and moving forward. The members are expected to combine their individual personalities to form a strong team and continue to grow as Kickflip.
Kickflip‘s first album, ‘Flip it, Kick it!’, will be officially released on January 20th at 6PM. Following their debut show on Mnet M2 at 7PM on the same day, they will hold a debut showcase at 9PM and will open a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul for a total of 9 days from January 25th to February 2nd.
