The group Tours‘ debut song ‘First Encounter Doesn’t Go As Planned’ topped Melon‘s annual chart last year.

According to the ‘2024 Annual Chart’ announced by Melon on the 9th, ‘First Encounter Doesn’t Go As Planned’ took the top spot, gaining popularity on short-form platforms.

Following this, (G)I-DLE‘s ‘I Hate Being Hurt’ and aespa’s ‘Supernova’ ranked 2nd and 3rd, respectively. IU‘s ‘Love Wins All’ took 4th place.

Illit’s debut song ‘Magnetic’ ranked 8th, New Jeans‘ ‘How Sweet’ ranked 15th, and Ive’s ‘I Am’, released in 2023, ranked 21st, showing the strength of girl groups this year as well.
