The band LUCY has reinterpreted Shin Hae-chul‘s representative song, ‘The Devil King’.

On the 9th, LUCY released a special live content, ‘Shin Hae-chul Tribute - To You’, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the late Shin Hae-chul’s death, through Dingo‘s music channel ‘df DF’.

This project was planned to honor Shin Hae-chul’s musical legacy, and ‘To You’ includes LUCY‘s signature violin melody, sometimes cheerfully, sometimes heavily, embracing the mood of the song, presenting a different charm from the original.

In the intro of the song, Shin Hae-chul’s voice introducing the ‘To You’ stage was inserted as an ambience sound recorded with a radio effect. It is said that member Jo Won-sang, who participated in the arrangement of ‘To You’, was contemplating the direction of the arrangement when he was impressed by the video of the ‘To You’ stage that the band Infinite Track first performed at the ‘MBC University Song Festival’ in 1988 and incorporated it into the arrangement.

Lucy, who participated in this meaningful project, said, “I worked on the arrangement with a heart of remembrance and respect for senior Shin Hae-chul. I put my heart and soul into making sure that Lucy‘s own color would be well blended with the brilliant feeling of the original song.“

Lucy recently released her first reality show since her debut, ‘A Very Special Youth Trip: Lucy Week’, through U+ Mobile TV, and is receiving a lot of love for her honest and cheerful travelogue.
