Singer-songwriter Lee Moo-jin has concluded his three-month nationwide tour with an encore concert.
Lee Moo-jin held the encore performances of his nationwide tour concert ‘Special Supplement’ at the Yonsei University Grand Auditorium in Seoul on the 11th and 12th. The concert, which began in Seoul last November, expanded to Busan, Changwon, Daegu, Goyang, and Suwon to meet fans nationwide, and returned to Seoul to end on a high note.
Lee Moo-jin made her first start with the stages of ‘Can We Have a Moment?’ and ‘Summer Greetings (Demo)’. Along with expressing gratitude for the support of many fans, he raised expectations for the concert by saying that he had compiled his music into the genre of books with the concept of ‘Lee Moo-jin‘s Bookstore’.
Also, he presented a series of stages filled with Lee Moo-jin’s own comfort, such as ‘Autumn Riding’, ‘Constellation’, ‘It‘s Snowing’, which are reminiscent of a movie when you put the lyrics together, ‘MuMu’s Day’, ‘Comma’, ‘Practice Room 8’, which delighted the eyes and ears of the audience. In particular, ‘Practice Room 8’ was performed for the first time in a long time through an encore concert, and Lee Moo-jin‘s love for the song was revealed with his deep immersion, touching the audience.
In the talk corner, ‘Special Supplement Side Story: Mujini’s Random Song’ time followed. Imoojin transformed into the fairy of song ‘Mujini’ and sang songs that matched the stories of the audience members who were recruited in advance, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience. She introduced stories with five keywords: excitement, depression, happiness, comfort, and confession, and sang songs of various genres, leaving a deep impression with her unique tone.
The fifth chapter, consisting of ‘Rain and You’, ‘Episode’, ‘I Couldn‘t Find a Reason Not to Propose’, and ‘Sweet’, which received the best responses during the national tour, followed. Here, Lee Moo-jin, who brought back memories of her childhood with ‘Chimney Village’s Poupelle’, which she added for the encore concert along with ‘Astronaut’, added meaning by saying that she really wanted to share the lyrics that will give us strength as we start the new year.
As the performance drew to a close, Lee Moo-jin sang ‘Youth Comics’, ‘Traffic Light’, and ‘Homework Song (I‘m Sorry, Professor)’ with a heavy heart to say her final goodbyes, and when the lights went out and encore requests continued, she reappeared by passionately singing ‘No One Is Here’, which made Lee Moo-jin who she is today. Fans also expressed their gratitude with the slogan, ‘Shine the brightest tonight, Lee Moo-jin!’, and shared a special moment together.
Lee Moo-jin said, “I’m so happy to be able to meet you all in the new year, and they say the songs you hear on the first day of the new year can determine the year, and since the concert was held in January, which is the beginning of the new year, I hope the songs you heard in ‘Special Supplement’ today will be the strength to make your year happy.” Lee Moo-jin also expressed his gratitude to the band session and staff who worked with him on the last national tour, and ended the concert on a warm note.
In addition, the radio winners who gave the logo song of ‘Haha‘s Super Radio’ to Lee Moo-jin’s encore concert this time attended the concert with Haha, adding to the meaning.
Lee Moo-jin plans to continue his activities in 2025 through various activities such as ‘Limousine Service’. It will continue.
