Group BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo will be making a solo comeback in February.
On the 13th at 6PM, Jisoo surprised everyone by releasing coming soon content announcing her new solo album through her agency BLISSOO’s official SNS.
The teaser video contains the motion of a lie detector moving. The date ‘FEBRUARY 14’ and Jisoo‘s name are then revealed, leaving a strong impression.
According to this, Jisoo will be making a surprise comeback by releasing her second solo album on February 14th. This is raising expectations as it is Jisoo’s first album since her solo debut song ‘FLOWER’ released in March 2023 and her first since establishing her one-person agency Blissoo.
In particular, ‘FLOWER’ ranked 6th on Spotify, 38th on the UK Official Singles Chart, 1st on iTunes in 57 countries around the world, and 1st on the Global YouTube Song and Music Video Charts at the time of its release, confirming Jisoo‘s potential as a solo artist.
Jisoo will be appearing as Yeong-ju in the Coupang Play original drama ‘Newtopia’, which will be released for the first time on February 7. Jisoo’s solo album will be released on all online music sites at home and abroad on February 14, and detailed information including the album name will be announced at a later date.
