The Boyz‘s Eric has been selected as the DJ for ‘Idol Radio Season 4’.

MBC Radio’s representative idol program ‘Idol Radio’ has been hosted solely by The Boyz‘s Sunwoo since February 2024. In 2025, Eric will be joining the existing host Sunwoo as a new DJ and will present an ‘Idol Radio’ with a different charm than Sunwoo.

Sunwoo and Eric are the youngest members of The Boyz and are friends born in 2000 as rappers. The two of them also did a special unit promotion with The Boyz’s first English song, . Just as much as the two have great chemistry, fans are looking forward to seeing what kind of ‘Idol Radio’ Sunwoo and Eric will create together. Eric, who has shown his entertainment skills through various programs such as ‘Pyeonmeokgo Gongchiri’, ‘Business Genius Baek Sa Jang’, will be challenging himself as a radio DJ for the first time.

Meanwhile, Eric said in a pre-meeting with the production team, “I‘m so happy to be a radio DJ for the first time, and more than anything, I’m honored to be able to do Idol Radio. “I‘m happy that I get to meet my fans every week and have the chance to show a new side of me.”

He then told his fans, “I think I’ll be really nervous at first, but I‘d appreciate it if you could watch over me and see that side of me as cute and pretty. He expressed his determination, saying, “Please take good care of DJ Eric, Idol Radio, and I ask for your interest and love.”

MBC’s ‘Idol Radio’ began broadcasting in 2018 and has been hosted by the best K-pop stars of the time, including BTOB’s Seo Eunkwang, GOT7’s Youngjae and DAY6’s Young K, MONSTA X’s Hyungwon & Jooheon, and ATEEZ’s Hongjoong & Yunho.

‘Idol Radio’, where The Boyz’s Eric and Sunwoo communicate with K-pop fans around the world, is broadcast live every Monday and Wednesday at 9 PM through MBC Radio’s official YouTube channel ‘Mhhj’. You can also catch the radio every Saturday night at midnight on the MBC FM4U (Seoul and Gyeonggi area 91.9MHz) channel.
