Group GOT7 has announced an upgraded musical spectrum with their full group return.

On the 15th, Kakao Entertainment released a highlight medley of some of the new songs from their new mini-album ‘WINTER HEPTAGON’ through GOT7‘s official SNS. Through this, not only have the title song and all the other tracks been partially revealed, but a behind-the-scenes video containing the unique charms of the seven members of GOT7 has also been released, receiving a hot response from global fans.

This album includes a total of 9 songs written, composed, and produced by the members themselves, including the title song ‘PYTHON’, ‘SMOOTH’, ‘Youth Drama’, ‘I Will Remember’, ‘Darling’, ‘TIDAL WAVE’, ‘OUT THE DOOR’, ‘her’, ‘What We Can Say Is.’.



Among these, ‘PYTHON’ and ‘TIDAL WAVE’ were by BamBam, ‘SMOOTH’ by Jackson, ‘Youth Drama’ by Youngjae (Ars), ‘I Will Remember’ by Yugyeom, ‘Darling’ by JAY B (Def.), ‘OUT THE DOOR’ by Mark (Mark Tuan), and ‘her’ by Jinyoung, each took charge of writing the songs, deeply capturing not only their individual personalities but also GOT7’s identity. Also, the last track ‘What We Can Say.’ was composed by JAY B, and all members participated in writing the lyrics, raising expectations as a fan song that conveys love and gratitude to fans.

First, ‘PYTHON’ captures your ears with a pop melody on a hip-hop beat. On top of the addictive yet sophisticated sound, the fateful love story of “I know I’m an icon / Watch me with the lights on / But she got a hold on me like a python” unfolds, heightening curiosity about the full song.

The soulful ‘SMOOTH’, ‘Youth Drama’ and ‘I Will Remember’ that make you look forward to the performance, ‘Darling’ that stands out with its R&B sensibility, ‘TIDAL WAVE’, ‘OUT THE DOOR’ that has an impressive dance rhythm, and the ballad track ‘her’ harmoniously contain the styles of each member. In the last track ‘All We Can Say’, GOT7 sings their sincerity towards their fans with the lyrics “To my special little bird / I hope my grateful heart reaches / I‘ll definitely come back”.

‘WINTER HEPTAGON’ is an album where you can experience GOT7’s deep musicality and love for their fans, celebrating their 11th debut anniversary. Despite being a mini-album, it delivers an even more abundant gift to their fans with its 9 full songs.

GOT7‘s new mini-album ‘WINTER HEPTAGON’ will be released through all online music sites in Korea and abroad at 6 PM on the 20th. GOT7 will then hold a solo concert [NESTFEST] at the Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul on February 1st and 2nd, continuing their full group activities. Expectations are rising as people will be able to hear GOT7’s new songs on stage as well as through music. Ticket sales will be held exclusively on the online ticket sales site Melon Ticket at 8 PM on the 17th of this month.
