Singer Hyun Jin-young will be the final runner for the OST commemorating the 20th anniversary of ‘Hip-Hop’.

On the 17th at 6 PM, the OST Part 18 of the 20th anniversary of the ‘Hip-Hop’ webtoon by writer Kim Soo-yong, produced by the comprehensive entertainment company Naturally Music, will be released through various online music sites, titled ‘Why Is It Like This (Feat. Shin Hae-sol).

‘Hip-Hop’ is the first dance webtoon in Korea, and gained popularity for its powerful dance battle scenes and detailed explanations of various techniques. In particular, it is evaluated to have contributed to organizing the names of techniques that differed from region to region. It is also recorded as the most recent South Korean comic million seller.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary, this commemorative album, which is being released sequentially after two years of preparation, includes Beopard, Foy, BXB, Jeong Sang-soo, Lil Jae-woo, Bruno Chapman, More, Jimmy Brown, Lil Jun X ziika, Wake Up GG, 909, Vanillere, Lil Thunder11, Woody Gochild, Sleepy, Becoel, Richman and Groove Nice, Junsu Kim and Deepflow, and SUMMER, and the last runner is Hyun Jin-young.

This song ‘Why Is It Like This (Feat. Shin Hae-sol)’ is a song that recreates the rhythm and groove unique to 90s New Jack Swing with a modern sound, and the vocal melody gently laid on top of the retro synth and heavy bassline stimulates the emotions of that time. The trendy arrangement spans generations, and the addictive chorus, sophisticated beats, and sweet chorus blend perfectly to create a balance of intensity and delicacy.

‘Hip-hop’ was released as an OST album to commemorate its 20th anniversary, as well as a digital single volume ‘The Hip-hop ORIGINAL CLASSIC STEP’ kit page, adding to its meaning. Also, a mini pop-up store will be held at the Kitvera Flagship Store Hongdae on the 18th and 19th, raising expectations.

In particular, on the first day, the 18th, a fan meeting with the author and a mini live will be held, and Jeong Sang-soo, Jimmy Brown, Beopard, 909, Gohi (Vanillae), and Lil Jae-woo will perform on stage.

Meanwhile, the OST commemorating the 20th anniversary of the ‘Hip-Hop’ cartoon that Hyun Jin-young participated in will be released on the 17th at 6 PM through various online music sites.
