YG‘s new girl group Baby Monster is showing off a fresh and innocent high-teen sensibility.
According to their agency YG Entertainment on the 16th, Baby Monster’s fourth music video for their first full-length album, ‘Really Like You’, will be released at midnight on the 17th.
‘Really Like You’, the fourth track on their first full-length album, ‘Drip’, is a 90s hip-hop R&B song with a groovy sound. Not only is it a style of music that Baby Monster has never shown before, but the lyrics, which honestly express the feelings of wanting to confess to someone you like, are receiving love from listeners as they bring pleasant excitement.
In this music video, you will be able to see Baby Monster‘s unique high-teen sensibility that is as exciting as the message in the song. They have already announced a different transformation through their teasing content, revealing various backgrounds reminiscent of school, such as classrooms, hallways, and gymnasiums, as well as fresh visuals in school uniforms.
The lovely mood is doubled by the storyline, the members’ fresh emotional acting, and cute animations that combine to create even more immersion. The three previous music videos, ‘Click Clack’, ‘Drip’, and ‘Love in My Heart’, were well-received for their directing that maximized the charm of each different song, so this one is also receiving a lot of attention.
The performance that will be unveiled for the first time in a music video is also a point to watch. Choreographers Chae Da-som and Jonain, who have participated in the choreography of many of Baby Monster‘s songs, have joined forces, and this is expected to create another synergy. The point movements that cleverly express the appearance of being in love are expected to receive a hot response.
Meanwhile, Baby Monster will hold the ‘2025 Baby Monster First World Tour - Hello Monster - in Seoul’ at KSPO DOME in Seoul on the 25th and 26th, kicking off their first world tour since their debut. They then plan to meet fans from all over the world with 21 performances in 12 cities including the US, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Jakarta.
