DAY6 has 4 songs in the top 10 of Melon‘s monthly chart... 1st place is ‘HAPPY’

The popular band DAY6 is cruising along, maintaining their 1st place on major music charts and music shows.

DAY6 topped the Melon September monthly chart for the first time since their debut with ‘HAPPY’, a track from their mini album ‘Fourever’, released in March of this year. In addition to this, ‘Welcome to the Show’ (3rd), the title song ‘Melting’ of the new album ‘Band Aid’ (4th), ‘Become a Page’ (6th), etc., took four places in the top 10, and ‘HAPPY’ (1st) on Genie’s September monthly chart.

Among these, ‘HAPPY’ topped Melon‘s weekly chart in the 38th week of 2024 (9/16~9/22), and maintained the ranking for three consecutive weeks up to the latest chart (09/30~10/06), and on the daily chart, it recorded the highest ranking for 23 consecutive days from September 14 to October 6. The new song ‘Melting’ ranked #1 on Melon Top 100 chart as of 9 PM on the day of its release (September 2nd), and maintained that position for 12 consecutive days until the 13th, and is still consistently ranked high on the chart to this day.

In addition, ‘Welcome to the Show’ and ‘Become a Page’ are firmly established within the top 10 of Melon Top 100 chart. ‘You Were Pretty’, the starting point of DAY6’s reverse run, is also maintaining the upper ranks of domestic music charts such as Melon and Genie. Recently, their debut song ‘Congratulations’ has also begun to shine, entering the Melon Top 100 chart for the first time on the morning of September 11th and reaching a high of 25th on the morning of the 30th. They also charted on the September monthly chart, impressing on listeners the power of ‘Day6, a group you can trust and listen to’ that has no shortage of songs from their debut to their latest.

They are also having a long run on music shows. On September 14th, they lifted their first terrestrial music show trophy since their debut on MBC‘s ‘Show! Music Core’ with ‘Melting’, and on the 21st and 28th, they were also named first place winners, achieving a triple crown. On September 29th and October 6th, they topped SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ for two consecutive weeks with ‘HAPPY’ without appearing on any music shows. With this, DAY6 has proven their strong digital music power by simultaneously achieving both a steady and reverse run on digital music charts since their comeback in September and winning five music show crowns.

Meanwhile, DAY6 is currently on their third world tour, ‘DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR ’. They kicked off the tour with a total of 40,000 audiences at Incheon Inspire Arena from the 20th to the 22nd of last month, and announced the start of their overseas performances with a solo concert in Kuala Lumpur on October 5th and 6th (local time). They will continue their performances in Bali on the 13th, Surabaya on the 16th, Jakarta on the 19th and 20th, Singapore on November 22nd, Bangkok on the 30th, Hong Kong on January 26th, 2025, Osaka on February 12th and 13th, Tokyo on the 15th and 16th, and Manila on the 22nd.
