‘K-pop leaders’ SEVENTEEN are finally back. They have been through many challenges and growth, and they will show a new charm through their 12th mini album ‘SPILL THE FEELS’.

‘SPILL THE FEELS’, which will be released at 6 PM on the same day, delivers the message of ‘Let‘s trust each other, share our feelings, and resolve our worries.’. This album contains SEVENTEEN’s signature healthy and positive energy, as well as stories that anyone can relate to and trendy music. According to the album distributor YG Plus, the new album has achieved pre-orders of close to 3.5 million copies.

SEVENTEEN, who will meet fans around the world with their comeback and world tour ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR’, delivered a Q&A through their agency Pledis Entertainment.

Q. Thoughts on the release of your 12th mini album

S.Coups: It seems like 9 years have passed in the blink of an eye and we‘ve come this far sincere. I think our albums are always full of SEVENTEEN’s unique genre and sincerity. We worked hard on this album as well, thinking of CARAT (our fandom name).

Hoshi: We‘re so grateful that we can release an album like this every year. It’s meaningful that we can record ourselves from each moment as we continue to grow.

Woozi: As always, we focused on our story while working on our 12th mini album. We ask for your great interest and anticipation for SEVENTEEN‘s new album that captures this very moment.
Q. What message do you want to convey through this album?

S.Coups: The 12th mini album ‘SPILL THE FEELS’ contains the message of wanting people to honestly share and resolve various emotions and move forward into a bright future with a healthy mind. We worked on this album in the hopes that many people would listen to it and healthily express their joys and sorrows.

Wonwoo: When we discussed this album with the members, many keywords came up. Of them, the keyword ‘comfort’ was the first to come to mind. We put our hopes into the album that CARATs would be comforted, gain strength, and be happy.

THE8: I always think that it is important to convey our meaning with good music. I hope the songs in the album can give strength to someone.


Q. ‘If you were to recommend our 12th mini album to this kind of person or in this kind of situation, please do so.

Jeonghan: I think it would be great to listen to it anytime, anywhere. If our songs can give you strength, then we’d be happy about that alone.

Jun: I think it would be great if people who need infinite love would listen to it. We put a lot of love into it for CARATs, and we worked hard to convey that love.

Seungkwan: Rather than recommending it to a certain person or in a certain situation, I hope that when you listen to our 12th mini album, you‘ll think of a certain person, situation, or moment. I hope it becomes an album like nostalgia.
Q. How did you feel when you first listened to the title track ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)’?

Joshua: First of all, the music was really good! I felt that it was an easy-listening song that was easy to enjoy, and I don’t think it’s a song that people will either like or dislike.

Jun: Since it’s a genre of music that we haven’t tried recently, I had high expectations because I thought we’d be able to show a new side of ourselves. Please watch us enjoy the stage a lot.

Wonwoo: It felt different from the music we’ve heard from SEVENTEEN so far. I feel excited that we’ll be able to show SEVENTEEN’s new charm through this song.

Vernon: It felt a little different from SEVENTEEN’s previous title tracks. It felt like we relaxed a bit. I thought that I wanted to try to express this kind of mood in a song as well.
Q. What kind of reaction do you want to get for the new album?

Joshua: I think I’ll be happy just knowing that CARATs enjoy listening to the album. I hope these songs will be with CARATs in the happy memories they will make.

DK: I want to show that we are ‘a group that continuously presents albums that develop’, ‘a team that can constantly do diverse music’. When we were working on the album, we recorded it with extra care so that CARATs could feel ‘Seventeen has grown once again’.

Dino: I want to hear responses like ‘Seventeen is a group that still has a lot to show’, ‘I’m looking forward to their future albums’. I did my best to make that happen.
Q. If you had to describe this album in one word

Hoshi: ‘us right now’. It‘s an album that expresses what SEVENTEEN is feeling right now.

Mingyu: ‘Crack crack!’ It’s an album that all the members made while being ‘excited’.

Seungkwan: ‘New but still SEVENTEEN’. ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)’ has a completely different vibe from our previous album ‘MAESTRO’. It also represents a new challenge for us, and we want to show our own energy within it.
Q. What to watch for in the world tour ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR’ that started on the 12th and 13th

DK: We will try to show you SEVENTEEN‘s lively, fun, and energetic side to our hearts’ content. We will work hard so that you can think ‘SEVENTEEN is still the same’!

Dino: While we showed you magnificent performances in our last tour, this new tour has a story in each chapter. I hope you focus on those stories.
