The band CNBLUE (Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Jung-shin) held a comeback show for their new album ‘X’ and shared their thoughts on the comeback.

On the 14th at 10PM, CNBLUE held an online comeback show ‘Sleepless Night with CNBLUE’ to commemorate the release of their 10th mini album ‘X’ through the CNBLUE YouTube channel. CNBLUE, who appeared in a comfortable atmosphere wearing pajama looks, talked about their recent activities and their new album ‘X’ that was released on October 14th.

Jung Yong-hwa, who has participated in college festivals as a solo artist since last year, said about his thoughts on participating in the festival as a member of CNBLUE this year, “I did a CNBLUE medley when I participated alone, but it was great to be able to do it in a serious and deep way with the members. Also, the cheering itself was different and enjoyable,” he said.

They then had time to listen to all the songs included in the 10th mini album ‘X’ and tell the behind-the-scenes stories about the songs. Regarding the title song ‘A Sleepless Night’, Jung Yong-hwa said, “The lyrics are memorable, but the rhythm itself is a rhythm that I remember a lot. I like the build-up rhythm when it gets to the highlight part,” sharing his points of appreciation. Lee Jung-shin said, “I like the bridge part the best,” and Kang Min-hyuk said, “I thought a lot about the rhythm and worked hard to fill the sound to fit the song as best as possible. I think the result turned out well, so I’m very satisfied.”

Regarding the track ‘BAD BAD’, he said, “The intro is so good and it feels like a sexy song,” and ‘RACER’, “It’s a song that was completed from the beginning, so it was done almost exactly like the demo version. Each song‘s charm was revealed, saying, “The rhythm is exciting and it’s the best song to perform live.” ‘To. My Love’ has a “soft piano melody and lyrics that are so good. It‘s especially the song that fits October the best right now,” and Lee Jung-shin’s self-composed song ‘Personal Color’ was met with satisfaction, saying, “It‘s a song that flows with the guitar riff. It’s a unique song,” and Kang Min-hyuk‘s self-composed song ‘Tonight’ was introduced as “It’s a song that surprised the members when they heard it, and it‘s a song that shows off Jung Yong-hwa’s vocals well.”



Lastly, wrapping up the comeback show, Lee Jung-shin said, “CNBLUE‘s 10th mini album ‘X’, which we’ve made a comeback with after 3 years, contains songs of many different genres. Please show us lots of love,” he said. Kang Min-hyuk said, “If you can’t sleep, listen to our album in order and listen to ‘SKIT (CD ONLY)’ which contains the story about us in the recording studio at the end. Then, you’ll be able to sleep well.” Jung Yong-hwa said, “I recommend listening to it clearly with headphones or earphones. Please support our future activities a lot and listen to this album a lot.” He conveyed his sincere feelings.

CNBLUE, which released their new album ‘X’ on the 14th and finished their comeback show, plans to meet with their fans through various activities.
