BTOB‘s Lee Min-hyuk has successfully completed his solo fan meeting in Japan.
Lee Min-hyuk held his solo fan meeting ‘2024 Hutazone ’24/7‘(2024 HUTAZONE ’24/7‘)’ (hereafter ‘Hutazone ’24/7‘)) on the 12th at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo, Japan, and on the 14th at Zepp Osaka Bayside in Osaka, meeting fans with a total of four performances, each at 2 PM and 7 PM.
‘Hutazone ’24/7’’ is Lee Min-hyuk’s first solo fan meeting as a solo artist, celebrating his 12th debut anniversary this year, and has garnered much attention since the news of its holding. Lee Min-hyuk, who opened the lively ‘Hertazone ’24/7‘’ in Seoul last month, once again proved his worth as a solo artist by performing in Tokyo and Osaka.
On this day, Lee Min-hyuk sang ‘I‘m rare‘ and ’BOOM‘ back-to-back, brilliantly opening the Japanese ’Hertazone ‘24/7’‘. He greeted local fans in Japanese that he had prepared in advance and explained the concert title as, “It means that 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we are always full of Melody (BTOB’s official fan club name) and thoughts by Melody, for Melody.”
Lee Min Hyuk performed songs that have received much love from global fans, including ’Dangerous‘, ’You Are My Spring‘, ’Falling Flowers‘, ’Purple Rain‘, and ’TANG TANG TANG‘, a new song by 90TAN, a unit formed with BTOB member Seo Eunkwang. Also, with a cover stage of Japanese singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu‘s ’LADY‘ and an unreleased song ’I Have Something to Say‘ that was performed at a previous concert, the concert atmosphere was heated up with a more diverse stage than ever.
Lee Min-hyuk, known as the king of self-management, revealed a video of his daily routine including working out, eating, and working on songs at this fan meeting. Afterwards, he transformed into a PT trainer and introduced fans to simple exercise movements that can be done in a short period of time, giving them a different kind of fun.
There was also a ’Heotaramchi Mission‘ corner that tested Lee Min-hyuk’s sense and agility. Lee Min-hyuk not only proved his extraordinary athleticism through various mini games such as BTOB random dance, unaccompanied singing, target shooting, and basketball 3-point shooting, but he also showed off his skills as a ’Born to Be Idol‘ by performing a random challenge where he had to watch various short-form videos that were popular recently and follow along right away.
Not only that, but Lee Min-hyuk transformed into a short-haired girl fan through the VCR ’Melody Log‘ in the middle of the performance, drawing an explosive reaction from fans once again. From offline album unboxing to vlogs of going to the ’Hertazone ‘24/7’‘ site, he showed off his refreshing and lively appearance and made fans burst into laughter.
Lastly, Lee Min-hyuk appeared on stage again due to the fans‘ enthusiastic encore requests and performed ’Fallin‘’, ‘Tonight (With Melody)’, and ‘Waiting For You’. From a setlist reminiscent of a concert to powerful live performances, unique talks, and games, the fan meeting perfectly blended them all, once again proving their title as a ‘trustworthy performance craftsman’.
Lee Min-hyuk, who successfully concluded the ‘Hertazone ’24/7‘’ in Japan amidst the enthusiastic response of local fans, said through his agency BTOB Company, “It was a really precious time and I was happy to be able to see the Japanese melodies up close after such a long time. I hope that with the support I received at this fan meeting, I can prepare hard and come back with a better look.”.
