BTS Jin will be releasing his first solo album since his debut.

On the 15th, Big Hit Music announced through the global super fan platform Weverse and BTS‘ official SNS, “Jin’s solo album ‘Happy’ will be released simultaneously worldwide on November 15th at 2 PM.”

‘Happy’ is an album that contains the message of going on a journey to find happiness together. Through this album, Jin will honestly share his thoughts on happiness and convey his warm heart toward ARMY (fandom name). The album contains six songs of various genres based on the band‘s sound.

Jin has received favorable reviews for his first solo single ‘The Astronaut’ in 2022, as well as his individual tracks ‘Awake’, ‘Epiphany’, and ‘Moon’ from the team’s album.

Jin also surprised everyone by posting a teaser video on the team‘s official SNS that day that gives a glimpse into the atmosphere of the new album. The video was produced with a sensual feel using vibrant colors, the album name ‘Happy’, and Jin’s name. The effect of balloons popping among the colorful shapes pouring down from the top of the screen creates an exciting party-like feeling.

Jin has been communicating with the public through various activities even before the release of his new album. He proved his global influence by running as a torch bearer for the ‘2024 Paris Summer Olympics’ in July, and recently appeared in entertainment shows such as his own content ‘Run Seok Jin’ and MBC‘s ‘It’s Fortunately for You to Get a Good Rest’. He has also confirmed his appearance in Netflix‘s ‘Daehwajang Gianjang’, which will be released next year.

Meanwhile, he plans to sequentially release various contents ahead of the release of ‘Happy’.
