82major communicated with fans through a Q&A session along with their thoughts on their comeback.

● Below is a Q&A with 82major.

Q. You‘ve made a comeback with your 2nd mini album ‘X-82’. How do you feel?

Hwang Sungbin: I’m really excited and happy to be able to meet Attitude (fandom name) as a secret agent.

Kim Dogyun: I‘m really looking forward to the title song ‘Stuck’. I hope you’ll show us lots of interest and love.

Q. What kind of album is this new album? Please introduce the title song ‘Tongue Tip’ as well.

Nam Sung-mo: ‘X-82’ is an album that contains our new music and charms like our ‘X-file’ that has not been released yet.

Jo Sung-il: ‘Tongue Tip’ is an alternative hip-hop genre song that stands out with its fast-tempo drum sounds and various percussion patterns. It is a song that strongly conveys our unique charms, like the chorus‘s lyric ‘I’ll get stuck’.

Q. The ‘Tongue Tip’ music video and story are interesting. Were there any memorable episodes while filming?

Yoon Ye-chan: There was a group dance scene under red lights, and the red light was stronger than I thought so I got dizzy. That‘s why I remember not keeping my balance during the dance break.

Park Seok-jun: When we were filming the last banquet scene, the Dongchun Circus Troupe appeared, so we got to see the actual circus. I remember filming that scene really having fun. It was the most memorable scene because it was the most fun we had while filming, and I’m looking forward to how it will turn out in the music video.

Q. Your first mini-album, ‘BEAT by 82’, title song ‘Choke’, is receiving unusual attention overseas. I think you must have a different feeling.

Jo Seong-il: First of all, thank you for listening to and loving our music. I think you felt 82 Major‘s sincerity toward music. Every time we make a song, we think about how we can tell our own story and convey it to the public. I’m so grateful that many people have recognized our feelings.

Yoon Ye-chan: We will continue to keep this mindset and keep running without stopping here. Please continue to show us lots of interest and love. Thank you very much.

Q. 82 Major is meeting the public with hip-hop music. Is there a reason why you chose hip-hop out of all the various genres?

Hwang Sung-bin: I had many opportunities to come into contact with hip-hop since I was a trainee. And I think my interest grew as I talked about hip-hop and worked on songs with the members. After that, I think it naturally became the direction of 82 Major.

Nam Sung-mo: Since all six of us like hip-hop, I think we naturally ended up doing hip-hop.

Q. All of the members write lyrics and compose music. Is there a music genre you would like to try in the future?

Nam Sung-mo: I would like to try the rock genre as well as hip-hop. We will show a more diverse side of 82 Major as we continue our activities.

Yoon Ye-chan: Regardless of the genre, I want to try anything. I also want to become a group that can handle various genres.

Q. Who is 82 Major‘s role model and who is the artist you would like to collaborate with?

Nam Sung-mo: Big Bang seniors are my role models. I’ve grown up watching their stages since I was young, and I also like their music, so I want to work with them.

Hwang Sung-bin: Seventeen seniors. I think I can learn a lot from them, like their performances and stage sense.

Q. Is there a goal you want to achieve through this comeback and a title you want to earn?

Park Seok-jun: I want to earn the title ‘Major’. I want to show the coolness of 82Major once again and show that we can really become major.

Jo Sung-il: I hope we win the Rookie of the Year award and get our name on the Billboard charts. I also want to earn the title ‘A group like mealtime’. I hope that 82Major will be a team that people look forward to and anticipate, just like they look forward to mealtime every day.

Q. Please say a word to the attitudes of people around the world who are waiting for 82Major.

Jo Sung-il: Attitude! The new album is finally coming out. You‘ve been waiting for it, right? We’ll show you an even cooler side of ourselves for waiting, so please look forward to it.

Kim Do-gyun: Attitudes all over the world, we‘ll be there, so just wait a little longer. I love you.
