The rumors of a full group reunion for group SS501 have been revealed to be false.

On the 17th, YTN reported, citing multiple music industry insiders, that “SS501 members are preparing a new Japanese album with the goal of releasing it early next year to mark their 20th debut anniversary.”

However, a representative from Henecia, the agency of SS501 leader Kim Hyun-joong, denied the claims, saying to Donga.com, “We have neither heard nor shared anything.”

SS501 consists of five members including leader Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min, and Kim Hyung-joon, and debuted in 2005. They were loved for songs like ‘Snow Prince’, ‘U R Man’, and ‘Because I‘m Stupid’. In 2010, they each transferred to different agencies and started solo activities, naturally taking their own paths. They released a best album in Japan in 2014.
