BTS‘s oldest member Jin was the last ‘Solo Puzzle’.
Jin, who was the first of the seven members to be discharged from the military in June and has been active in various fields, will release his first solo album ‘Happy’ on November 15 and debut as a solo artist.
Although he released a solo single ‘The Astronaut’ in 2022, this is the first time since his debut that he has filled an album by himself. With Jin releasing a solo album, BTS has become a group where each member has a solo album.
‘Happy’ contains a total of 6 tracks, including the title track ‘Running Wild’(I’ll Be There), ‘Another Level’(Another Level), ‘Until I Reach You’(Heart on the Window),‘Longing’(Yearning).

Jin gathered famous pop stars from Korea and abroad for his first solo album, as befitting a ‘global superstar’. Gary Barlow of the legendary British pop band Take That participated as producer for the title track ‘Running Wild’, while Taka and Toru, members of the famous Japanese rock band One Ok Rock, participated as producers for ‘Until I Reach You’. American singer-songwriter Max helped write the song for ‘I’m Be There’.
He challenged his first duet song since his debut with Wendy, a member of girl group Red Velvet. They garnered attention by singing ‘Heart on the Window’ as a duet and kissing for the first time. Jin personally participated in writing the lyrics for the fan song ‘Longing’, expressing his sincerity towards his fandom ‘Army’.

Jin plans to warm up his solo career by carrying out various promotions until the official release date of the album on November 15. As part of this, he decided to pre-release ‘Another Level’, a song that contains a pledge to overcome adversity and leap to the next level, on the 25th at 1 p.m.
Meanwhile, Jin visited the 36th Infantry Division‘s new recruit training battalion in Wonju, Gangwon-do on the 17th to greet J-Hope, the second member of the group to complete his military service, and watched his discharge ceremony. He caught attention by fulfilling his role as the ‘eldest brother’, such as personally holding up a dummy broadcasting microphone next to J-Hope.
