The 12th mini album by the group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has sold over 3 million copies in just 5 days since its release.
According to Hanteo Chart on the 19th, SEVENTEEN‘s 12th mini album ‘SPILL THE FEELS’ had sold 3,066,825 copies as of the previous day. This figure was achieved in just 5 days since the album was released on the 14th. This is the shortest period of time for a K-pop album released this year to sell over 3 million copies, and it is the only case of achieving triple million sellers during the initial sales (album sales for the first week after release) calculation period.
The pre-orders for this album were close to 3.5 million copies, with 2,494,180 copies sold on the day of release alone. The overseas response is also hot. ‘SPILL THE FEELS’ ranked 2nd on the ‘Worldwide iTunes Albums’ immediately after its release, and topped the Japanese Oricon Daily Album Rankings.
The title song ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)’ has been maintaining its high ranks on major music charts such as Melon and Bugs since its release. It also ranked 2nd on the daily chart of Japan’s major music site Line Music. As the English version, SPILL THE FEELS version, Hitchhiker Remix, and TAK Remix of the song were additionally released on the 18th, interest in ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)’ is expected to continue.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will appear on MBC‘s ‘Show! Music Core’ today (19th) to perform the title song. They will also continue their world tour. The ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR’ will be held in Rosemont, USA on the 22nd and 23rd (local time), followed by New York, Texas, Oakland, and Los Angeles. The tour will then continue to four domes in Japan and major cities in Asia.
