Sooyoung has successfully concluded her Japanese solo debut showcase.

Her agency Saram Entertainment said, “Sooyoung successfully held her Japanese solo debut showcase ‘Unstoppable’ at the Ebisu Garden Hall in Tokyo, Japan on the 26th.” The showcase, which was held twice, sold out all shows, proving her unchanging popularity locally.

Sooyoung opened the showcase with Girls‘ Generation’s ‘Mr. Taxi.’ She then heated up the atmosphere on site with a live performance of Girls‘ Generation’s hit songs ‘GENIE’ and ‘BAD GIRL.’ Sooyoung revealed all the songs on her debut single, including the title track ‘Unstoppable’, as well as the other tracks ‘C.ALM’, ‘Who is the person reflected in this world’, and ‘Call Me’, for the first time.

Sooyoung filled the stage alone for 75 minutes, giving fans who came to the showcase an unforgettable memory. In the audience that day, her boyfriend Jung Kyung-ho and her acquaintances were present, wearing t-shirts with Sooyoung‘s face printed on them and holding placards to passionately cheer her on. Sooyoung and Jung Kyung-ho have been dating publicly for 12 years, since 2012.

Sooyoung said, “It’s not my first time standing on stage alone, but I‘m even more nervous and anxious because it’s called ‘solo debut.’ I‘m happy that my dream has come true, and I’m so happy to be standing on stage after such a long time.” He said, “I‘m happy to be able to share my first Japanese solo album, first stage, and first challenge with my fans. I will work hard to show various sides of me as a singer and an actor, so please continue to look forward to it,” conveying his sincere feelings.

Choi Sooyoung’s first Japanese solo debut single, ‘Unstoppable’, is an album that contains her identity. Choi Sooyoung, who was in charge of producing the entire album, also participated in the lyrics, and increased the perfection of the songs by incorporating the many challenges, difficulties, and successes she has experienced so far.
