Kwon In-ha forms band Kwon In-ha & Sons → Releases first single ‘Pierna’

‘Rock legend’ Kwon In-ha and his band ‘Kwon In-ha & Sons’ have released their first single ‘Pierna’.

Kwon In-ha & Sons (Kwon In-ha N‘ SONZ) released their first single ‘Pierna’ through various music sites on the 5th.

Kwon In-ha, who debuted in 1986 with the band ‘Uri’ and opened a new horizon for progressive rock in South Korea with songs such as ’The World Is All‘, ’Cold Rain‘. He has been active in various fields regardless of genre with ‘Rainy Day Watercolor’ in the 1990s, as a producer for singers Park Hyo-shin and Park Hwayobi in the 2000s, and with the YouTube channel ‘Thunder Tiger’ in the 2010s.

Kwon In-ha has started a new challenge with four members who are young enough to be his sons. Kwon In-ha & Sons became known by appearing on the band survival program ‘Fireworks Band’. Next-generation No. 1 guitarist Park Hae-chan, acknowledged by Kwon In-ha, legendary rhythm duo bassist Han Ji-seok and drummer Lee Sung-hoon from Seoul Institute of the Arts, and keyboardist Kim Jung-yong, who dominates broadcast sessions, participated.

Kwon In-ha & Sons‘ first single ‘Pierna’ is a work of art in which Kwon In-ha, who opened the horizons of progressive rock in Korea, of ’Us‘, has come a long way after 38 years and created a new alternative for Korean rock with his sons.

The lyrics that deal with Kwon In-ha’s veteran fighting spirit, “We can‘t go on like this,” are impressive, and the hopeful message of running towards the world without stopping and creating a new tomorrow is harmonized with Kwon In-ha’s explosive falsetto. The producing duo team ’Raccoons!‘ (Shim On, Woo Jong-hyun), who graduated from Berklee College of Music, summoned up ’Linkin Park‘ of the Chester Bennington era and mixed it to fit the Korean sentiment.

Kwon In-ha & Sons gathered under the direction of producer Raccoons! and have been honing their teamwork for the past five years by appearing on various broadcasts such as ’Fireworks Band‘ and ’Immortal Songs‘. They also proved their power by interacting with the audience in Kwon In-ha‘s concert series ’Roar‘. Recently, the full Kwon In-ha & Sons performed ’If I Love You Again‘, which garnered over 3 million cumulative views on YouTube and Instagram.
