Teenage singer Lee Su-yeon will release her debut single on the 7th.

Lee Soo-yeon‘s debut single ‘Lee Soo-yeon’ is an album that contains an irreplaceable and unique charm just like her name, and consists of the double title songs ‘Let’s Play’ and ‘Halmae Guksi’, armed with even more mature emotions and singing skills.

The first title song ‘Let‘s Play’ is a trot song that exquisitely blends the old-fashioned charm of traditional gugak and the cheerful rhythm of modern trot. It is an impressive song with a gugak-style intro composed of traditional Korean instruments such as a samulnori band, taepyeongso, piri, haegeum, and daegeum, and Lee Soo-yeon’s powerful voice.

‘Trot Cuckoo’ Moon Cho-hee participated in writing the lyrics for this song, and ‘Trot Avengers’ Ma Ah-seong and Jeon Hong-min joined forces to contain a fusion that embraces the beauty of Korean tradition and modern sensibility. Based on her simple yet explosive singing ability, Lee Soo-yeon created a feast-like song that anyone, young or old, can sing along to and enjoy, adding a sophisticated and addictive melody.

Another title song, ‘Halmaeguksi’, is a song that contains Lee Soo-yeon‘s deep feelings for having grown up in the hands of her grandparents since she was young, and was created after being inspired by Lee Soo-yeon’s actual story. The project producing team ‘I Like Trot’, consisting of composers Song Bong-jo, Fireman, Koo Hee-sang, and music director Lim Hyeon-gi, joined forces to once again impress upon listeners Lee Soo-yeon‘s solid singing ability.

Lee Soo-yeon not only showed her star quality with her lovely eye smile on TV Chosun’s ‘Miss Trot 3’, but she also showed off her unique voice and singing ability, as well as her stage presence that captivates viewers despite being an elementary school student, and established herself as a star in an instant. Recently, she won the grand prize at the ‘Prodigy Trot Idol National Primary Festival’, which was held on the KBS 1TV ‘Morning Plaza’ corner Challenge Dream Stage, and is gaining attention as a new star of Korean trot.

Lee Soo-yeon, who is loved by the public as the ‘Nation‘s Granddaughter’, is officially debuting as a singer through this album.
