NCT Doyoung donates 100 million won to UNICEF Korea Committee [Official]

NCT Doyoung donated 100 million won to UNICEF Korea Committee in anticipation of ‘World Children‘s Day’ on November 20th.

Doyoung, who made the donation in order to repay the passionate love of his fans, has been spreading good influence through sharing activities for children, women and adolescents from low-income families, etc. In particular, he chose the donation destination and items himself to support the healthy growth of children around the world in preparation for the upcoming World Children’s Day, making it even more meaningful.

The funds Doyoung donated will be used in full for UNICEF Korea Committee‘s ‘Life-Saving Gifts’ Nutrition Education Support Kit, which consists of nutritional and educational relief supplies, and will be delivered to children in need. Through this, Doyoung has newly joined the ’UNICEF Honors Club‘, a group of high-value donors.

The ’Life-Saving Gift‘ is a program where donors can choose the kit they want and sponsor it, consisting of relief supplies essential for children’s growth, such as health, nutrition, water sanitation, and education. The nutrition education support kit consists of high-nutrition biscuits, malnutrition treatment food, school bags, notebooks, pencils, etc. 100 million won is a fund that can deliver about 150,000 high-nutrition biscuits and 3,300 school bags.

Doyoung said, “I wanted to repay the support from fans from various countries who have sent me since my first solo album, through my Asia tour, and encore concerts. I hope that all children around the world grow up healthy and bright, and I hope we can celebrate a happy ‘World Children’s Day‘.”
