After sweeping the Oricon chart, the group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has added a Gold Disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 8th, SEVENTEEN‘s 12th mini album ‘SPILL THE FEELS’ has received a Gold Disc ‘Platinum’ certification for cumulative shipments of over 250,000 copies as of October. The Recording Industry Association of Japan gives out Gold Disc certifications based on cumulative album shipments every month, including Gold (over 100,000 copies), Platinum (over 250,000 copies), and Double Platinum (over 500,000 copies).
SEVENTEEN has received Gold Disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for 17 albums. SEVENTEEN in particular has earned three certifications this year alone. Previously, there was their best album ‘17 IS RIGHT HERE’ (double platinum) and special unit Jeonghan X Wonwoo’s first single ‘THIS MAN’ (gold).
SEVENTEEN‘s 12th mini album ‘SPILL THE FEELS’ not only topped the Japanese Oricon Daily Album Rankings immediately after its release, but also topped the Oricon Weekly Album Rankings and Weekly Combined Albums Rankings for the 13th time, setting a record for the most #1s by a foreign artist. The album also topped Billboard Japan’s ‘Hot Albums’.
SEVENTEEN will continue their local popularity with a Japanese dome tour. They will meet local fans with ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN JAPAN’, starting with Vantelin Dome Nagoya (November 29-30), followed by Tokyo Dome (December 4-5), Kyocera Dome Osaka (December 12, 14-15), and PayPay Dome Fukuoka (December 19, 21-22).

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN released their 12th mini album title song ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled) (Kenia OS Remix)’ through various music sites at 2 PM on this day. Mexican singer-songwriter Kenya OS participated, adding an even more romantic atmosphere to the original song with his sweet tone. “I‘m so excited to be working with one of the greatest K-pop groups, SEVENTEEN, on this song,” said Kenia Oss. “This collaboration comes at a really great time in my career.”
