Kim Jaejoong X Kim Junsu “We cried while practicing, we didn‘t give up and we came this far”

On the afternoon of the 9th, Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu’s 20th debut anniversary solo concert ‘JX 2024 CONCERT [IDENTITY] in SEOUL’ (Identity in Seoul, hereinafter referred to as [IDENTITY]) was held at KSPO DOME (formerly known as the Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

On that day, Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu performed TVXQ‘s ‘Rising Sun’ and ‘Purple Line’ ‘“O”-正.反.合.’ back-to-back as the opening stage. Afterwards, they performed ballads ‘Whatever They Say’ and ‘Believe’, and completed a cheerful stage with fans with ‘SKY’ ‘You Always’.

Junsu Kim asked, “It’s been a while since you‘ve heard and sang these songs, right?”, and said, “While preparing these songs, I got reminded of old memories and got emotional and shed tears several times while practicing the songs. Today, I feel like I’m finally seeing the image I‘ve always dreamed of. I think it’s great that hyung and I didn‘t give up and came this far. I thought that yesterday and I feel the same way today, too.“

Jaejoong Kim said, “I think you’ve done really well. There were ups and downs, but it was a short time if it was short, and a very long time if it was long, but I was able to come this far thanks to the fans who were always with me. “There are people who have walked this whole path with me, but I think there are also people who have waited silently behind and came today.”

Junsu Kim said, “I know that there are many people who have been busy with real life, working, and loving, and have forgotten about us for a while and came to this concert,” and expressed his affection, saying, “Just being able to see you after so long is moving. Now that you’ve seen it all, I think it would be nice if you could show me some love too.”

This concert [IDENTITY], which will be held for three days from November 8 to 10, is the first project presented by Jaejoong and Junsu as a unit JX, named after the first letters of their stage names. The two, who are from groups TVXQ and JYJ, prepared [IDENTITY] solely for the sake of their fans. Following their Seoul concert, Jaejoong Kim and Junsu Kim will also meet global fans with [IDENTITY] at the Veruna Dome in Saitama, Japan on December 14th and 15th.
