Kim Jaejoong X Kim Junsu revealed their thoughts on singing TVXQ’s song after a long time.

On the afternoon of the 9th, at KSPO DOME (former Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu‘s 20th debut anniversary solo concert ‘JX 2024 CONCERT [IDENTITY] in SEOUL’ (Identity in Seoul, hereinafter referred to as [IDENTITY]) was held.

On this day, Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu performed not only TVXQ’s Korean songs, but also Japanese songs that were greatly loved, such as ‘Stand By U’, ‘Begin’, ‘明日は來るから (Asuwa Kurukara - Tomorrow is Coming)’.

Kim Junsu said, “In Korea, I haven‘t sung Japanese songs much, but since it’s been a while and I don‘t know when I’ll be able to do it again, I‘ve prepared for it. I’m going to perform in Japan this time, too. Language doesn‘t matter, whether it’s Korean or Japanese. What matters is the heart. Korean fans must have listened to a lot of Japanese songs, and Japanese fans must have listened to Korean songs, so I wanted to give them good songs, so I decorated it with songs I sang in Japan.“

Kim Jaejoong said, ”I was nervous yesterday, but today, I felt the same way while singing. The two of us are together, so we‘re singing songs we haven’t been able to sing before, but there are still many stories we haven‘t been able to tell. The stories that I can’t tell are melted into this music, and when I feel the music and sing, I feel like my frustration is relieved.“ He also confessed, ”When Junsu sings, strange thoughts come to me. Kim Junsu said, ”I get emotional when I sing while looking at the fans, but I especially can‘t look Jaejoong hyung in the eye. This concert [IDENTITY], which will be held for three days from November 8 to 10, is the first project presented by JX, a unit named after Jaejoong Kim and Junsu Kim‘s stage names. The two, who are from groups TVXQ and JYJ, have reunited after a long time and prepared [IDENTITY] solely for the sake of their fans. Following the Seoul concert, Jaejoong Kim and Junsu Kim will also meet global fans with [IDENTITY] on December 14 and 15 at the Veruna Dome in Saitama, Japan.
