ZEROBASEONE to release new Japanese album on January 29th next year… A gift for ZEROBASEONE

Group ZEROBASEONE will release their first Japanese EP ‘PREZENT’ on January 29th, 2025.

This will be the first time ZEROBASEONE has released an EP album in Japan. Following the release of their first Japanese single ‘ゆらゆら -運命の花- (Yura Yura -Unmei no Hana-)’ last March, they will be meeting local fans in an EP format for the first time in about 10 months.

As can be seen from the album title ‘PREZENT’, it is expected to be a special gift for ZEROBASEONE (official fandom name). The album contains a total of 6 songs, including 4 original Japanese songs, ‘NOW OR NEVER’, ‘Only One Story’, ‘Firework’, ‘HANA’, and 2 Japanese versions of Korean songs, ‘Feel the POP’, ‘GOOD SO BAD’. Among them, ‘Only One Story’ was also chosen as the latest opening song for the popular Japanese TV animation ‘Pokemon’, proving ZEROBASEONE‘s presence in Japan.

ZEROBASEONE has released two mini-albums this year, ‘You had me at HELLO’ and ‘CINEMA PARADISE’, and is currently on an overseas tour ‘2024 ZEROBASEONE THE FIRST TOUR [TIMELESS WORLD]’ (hereafter ‘TIMELESS WORLD’) to visit eight cities around the world. In addition, they have announced the release of their first Japanese EP ‘PREZENT’, continuing their relentless global activities.

In particular, ZEROBASEONE’s popularity in Japan is at a syndrome level. ZEROBASEONE became a ‘Half Million Seller’ within a week of their debut with their first single ‘Yurayura -運命の花-’, and also received a ‘Double Platinum’ certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for works that have achieved cumulative shipments of over 500,000 copies based on March shipments.

In addition, ZEROBASEONE recently swept the No. 1 spot on the Oricon Weekly DVD Ranking, Oricon Weekly Blu-ray Disc Ranking, and Oricon Weekly Music DVD/Blu-ray Disc Ranking as of November 4, 2024 with the ‘2024 ZEROBASEONE FAN-CON IN JAPAN’ Blu-ray & DVD containing the live performance of their recent Japanese fan concert. This year, ZEROBASEONE is the first overseas artist to simultaneously achieve triple crowns on the Oricon weekly video rankings.

Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE will be holding an overseas tour, ‘TIMELESS WORLD’, in Aichi, Japan from November 29 to December 1, and in Kanagawa from December 4 to 5. They will then release their first Japanese EP, ‘PREZENT’, on January 29, 2025.
