There is no leap more certain than this.

Group Seraphim has succeeded in making this year a year of certain ‘quantum jump’. With their 3rd mini-album ‘Easy’ and 4th mini-album ‘Crazy’, released in February and August respectively, they have steadily achieved ‘step growth’ and have even created an opportunity to expand their global territory.

They seem to have reached the peak of their upward curve by winning the Best Push category at Europe‘s largest music awards ceremony, the ‘2024 MTV Europe Music Awards’(MTV EMA) on the 11th (Korean time). On this day, Seraphim competed with global stars such as Chaplin Ron and Teddy Swims to take home the trophy.

In addition, Seraphim was invited as a performer at the awards ceremony held at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England, and even performed on the ‘Crazy’ stage. The BBC in England said, “Reseraphim, who achieved amazing success in the United States, will be performing for the first time in the UK. They will show a sophisticated and formal stage,”, conveying the high local expectations for them.

Earlier, they performed on the pre-show stage at the ‘2024 MTV Video Music Awards’ (MTV VMA) held on September 12. ‘MTV VMA’ is one of the four major American pop music award ceremonies, and Seraphim won this year’s Push Performance Award.

The prevailing opinion is that Seraphim‘s ‘career high’ on the US Billboard and the UK Official Charts played a role in their domination of such famous overseas pop music award ceremonies. They also proved their clear expansion by consecutively entering Billboard’s main single chart ‘Hot 100’, which requires popularity from the general public beyond the fandom, with the songs ‘Easy’ (99th place) and ‘Crazy’ (76th place).

Some say that the fact that they overcame the ‘live skill controversy’ that was embroiled in last April was also a stepping stone for their leap forward. Previously, they were caught up in controversy for performing below expectations at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’. Later, the members honestly admitted during the showcase for the release of their 4th mini-album, saying, “It‘s true that we couldn’t control our pace because we were excited,“ drawing attention.

Le Seraphim showed a strong will to grow by gaining festival experience by touring 7 college festivals in September and October. Through this, they were able to communicate closely with the audience, show a more advanced stage, and directly remove the controversy.
