Group K4 has confirmed the release of their third Japanese single.
According to Forest Network, K4 (Kim Hyun-min, Oh Ju-ju, Ryu Philip, Jo Jun) will release their third Japanese single on December 11.
This new album comes about four months after the release of their third domestic single, ‘Love 4 You’, and about eight months after their second Japanese single, ‘Love Storm, Bye Bye Bye’, in March.
Earlier, K4 drew attention for their unusual performance as a rookie group, starting with ‘Snow Flower’, a track from their pre-mini album, which topped the USEN (Japan‘s largest cable TV) chart for three consecutive weeks in February, and ‘Storm-like Love (Japanese ver.)’, which topped the chart for two consecutive weeks.
They are continuing that momentum this time with ‘Adult They are set to show off their presence as the ‘leading members of K-pop (Adult K-pop)’. Their upcoming Japanese album will feature a variety of tracks that fully showcase K4’s musical strengths, including the title track ‘Love’, to fully satisfy the expectations of local fans who have been waiting for their music.
The title track of their upcoming Japanese album, ‘Love’, is a pop Latin genre song that features a sweet bossa nova rhythm. Director Oh Joon-sung, a master of Hallyu OSTs, was in charge of composing and arranging it. Lyricist Lee Gun-woo wrote the lyrics, and a number of splendid session musicians, including Park Joo-won on Latin guitar and Kim Hyun-ah on the chorus, participated to enhance the level of perfection.
K4 is expected to solidify their position as ‘leading members of Adult K-pop’’ through their diverse Japanese album that showcases the individual colors of each of the four members, with their upgraded vocal skills and unrivaled charm. In addition, they are planning and preparing opportunities to communicate more closely with local fans, such as Japanese concerts and fan meetings.
Meanwhile, K4 is a group discovered and produced by domestic music producer Oh Joon-seong, and was created by fusing ‘Warrior K (knight)’+’4 (Oh Joo-joo, Kim Hyun-min, Jo Jun, Ryu Philip)’. Since debuting in September 2022 with their first single ‘Storm-like Love’, they have released numerous domestic and Japanese albums, and have also sold out both of their first solo concerts at TOKYO FM Hall in Chiyoda-ku, Japan on the 13th.
