The group EPEX is attracting attention by selling over 200,000 copies of their second full-length album for the third consecutive time.
According to the album sales statistics site Hanteo Chart on the 12th, EPEX‘s (Wish, Geum Dong-hyun, Mu, Amin, Baek Seung, Aiden, Yewang, Jeff) second full-length album ‘Distilled Water 2: Lack of Youth’ recorded a total of 237,985 copies sold in the first week since its release (based on the first week, November 5-11).
Epex previously recorded their highest first-day sales with over 130,000 copies sold on the day of the release of their second full-length album. Along with this, they also took 1st place on the Hanteo Chart Daily Album Chart and 4th place on the Weekly Album Chart.
Through this, Apex has achieved the feat of surpassing 200,000 copies in initial album sales for the third time in a row, following their 6th mini-album, Book of Anxiety Chapter 2. ‘Can We Surrender?’ released in October of last year, and their 1st full-length album, ‘소화(韶華) Vol. 1: Youth’ released in April of this year.
With the release of their 2nd full-length album, Apex has sold over 1 million copies in cumulative album sales since their debut in just 3 days, and has shown their ability to achieve great results once again as soon as the initial period ended. You can feel the explosive rise of Apex, who has released two full-length albums this year and is currently promoting them.
‘Digestion (韶華) 2nd Album: Lack of Youth’ is the second album in Apex’s three-part full-length album series about youth, and it contains a total of eight songs about the deficiencies that come with youth and the choices, fulfillment, and mindset that come with them. The title song ‘UNIVERSE’ is a song that delivers a clear message, ‘My universe has to be you’, and Apex‘s performance that melts their youthful energy is captivating global fans not only on stage but also through the ‘Only You Dance’ challenge.
Apex plans to continue to actively promote ‘UNIVERSE’ by appearing on various music shows and contents.
