‘Reconstruction of a Masterpiece’ has once again become a million seller.
Top group ENHYPEN showed momentum by becoming a ‘Million Seller’ on the first day of release with their repackaged album. According to Hanteo Chart on the 12th, ENHYPEN‘s 2nd full-length repackaged album ‘Romance: Untold-Daydream-‘(ROMANCE:UNTOLD-daydream-) sold 1,012,245 copies on the day of release, the 11th. This repackaged ‘original’ regular 2nd album has sold over 2.9 million copies as of September.
The repackaged 2nd regular album is an album that includes 2 new songs, including the title song ‘No Doubt’, in addition to the 10 songs included in the previous album. In addition to record-breaking sales, the analysis inside and outside the industry is that the synergy created by breathing new life into the previous work ‘Aftertaste’, which was well-received as a ‘masterpiece’, while also maintaining the synergy, leading to the achievement of a million sellers ‘on the day of release’.
Although sales of the repackaged and original albums are not usually combined, the fact that the two albums with the same title have sold close to 4 million copies, which is considered a “quadruple million seller,” is a strong argument for picking their second full-length album as the “Album of the Year.”
Meanwhile, the explosive sales of the repackaged album and the public interest in the new title song “No Doubt” seem to have been fueled. Following its successful debut at the top of major domestic music sites Melon, Bugs, and Genie’s real-time charts, it also charted simultaneously in the “Top Songs” of 32 countries and regions on iTunes, a global pop music platform.
Since their debut, ENHYPEN has released a total of six million-seller albums. Starting with their first full-length album ‘Dimension: Dilemma’, they achieved a career high with their 3rd, 4th, and 5th mini-albums, and their 2nd full-length album released this year.
