Isn‘t the biggest beneficiary ‘right here’ of China’s lifting of its THAAD ban? YG‘s ‘monster rookie’ Baby Monster is ‘lining up new songs’ on China’s largest music site QQ Music‘s popularity chart.
According to YG Entertainment (YG) on the 13th, all songs from Baby Monster’s recently released first full-length album ‘DRIP’ ...
With the double title tracks ‘Drip’ and ‘Click Clack’ taking the top and third place on their respective charts, ‘Love, Maybe’ and ‘Love In My Heart’, also known as the love series, took fourth and sixth place, respectively, and ‘Really Like You’ and ‘Billionaire’, other included tracks, settled in at seventh and eighth place.
QQ Music‘s major charts have also been swept up in the ‘Bemon fever’. ‘Drip’ has been at the top of the music video chart for 13 days in a row, starting with the main rankings such as rise, trending index, popularity, and new songs.
Baby Monster had previously garnered attention by breaking their own record on Billboard, the representative global pop music chart. According to Billboard’s recent charts, ‘Drip’ entered the ‘Billboard 200’, one of the two main charts and an album ranking, at 149th place, while ‘Billboard Global (excluding the US)’ ranked 16th and ‘Billboard Global 200’ ranked 30th, respectively.
Baby Monster, who completed the ‘3-stage combo’ of debut album-season song-full album thanks to explosive popularity in their first year of debut, will embark on their first world tour next year.
