The group Tomorrow x Together has swept the top spot on Oricon and Billboard Japan, the two major Japanese music charts.

According to Japan‘s Oricon on the 14th, Tomorrow x Together’s 7th mini album ‘The Star Chapter: Sanctuary’ (SANCTUARY) took first place on the latest ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’ (as of November 18; tally period November 4-10). They also topped the ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ and the ‘Weekly Western Music Album Ranking’ during the same period, achieving a triple crown on the Oricon weekly chart. It also ranked 2nd on the ‘Digital Albums’.

Oricon‘s Weekly Combined Album Rankings are ranked by adding up CD sales, digital downloads, and streaming. ‘Star Chapter: Sanctuary’ earned 299,000 points, which is about 120,000 points more than the 179,042 points earned by their previous 6th mini album. With this album, TXT topped the ‘Weekly Combined Album Rankings’ for the 11th time overall, maintaining their 2nd place all-time for the number 1 combined album ranking.

TXT also topped Billboard Japan’s ‘Artist 100’, which was announced on the 13th. With ‘The Star Chapter: Sanctuary’ taking the #1 spot on ‘Hot Albums’ and ‘Top Album Sales’, TXT also achieved a triple crown on Billboard Japan. The album also achieved good results across the board, including #2 on ‘Download Albums’. Thanks to the popularity of the new album, sales of previous albums increased, and the Japanese single ‘Chikai’ (CHIKAI·誓い) released in July jumped 84 places on ‘Top Single Sales’ compared to the previous week.

The new album‘s title song ‘Over The Moon’ is so popular that the music video surpassed 40 million views on YouTube as of 2:39 p.m. on the 3rd. On the MBC M, MBC every 1 ‘Show! Champion’ took first place.
