Singer Lee Ye-jun is embarking on a meaningful journey with the ‘Duryu Youth Project’.

Today (the 14th) at 6 PM, the new song ‘I thought my tears had dried up (Duryu Youth)’, which Lee Ye-jun participated in as part of the ‘Duryu Youth Project’, will be released on all music streaming sites around the world through the global music platform AURORA.

The ‘Duryu Youth Project’ is a special project created by the Small and Medium Business Administration, Daegu Metropolitan City, Dalseo-gu, and the Daegu Traditional Market Promotion Foundation to revitalize the ‘Youth’ commercial district in the Duryu area of Daegu. As the theme song for the commercial district revitalization project, it was produced as a drama about breakup that focuses on the empathy of youth that can be remembered by the MZ generation in Korea, and Lee Ye-jun joined as a singer with a warm heart.

This new song, ‘I Thought My Tears Had Dried Up’, is a ballad that honestly expresses the feelings of endless tears flowing from longing because the painful moment of separation cannot be erased.

The song starts with a sentimental piano and gentle strings in the first half, and the dynamic composition that builds as it goes on highlights Lee Ye-jun‘s explosive singing ability. The climax maximizes the emotions with the dramatic instrumental performance combined with Lee Ye-jun’s unique delicate and solid vocalization and mournful voice.

This song was planned by general producer Kim Woo-seok (Fluxsonic) and was completed with the participation of producer Kim Ha-jun, who has created works with various artists including singer Lee Ye-jun, MC THE MAX, Big Mama (Park Min-hye), Kardgarden, and Wheein.

The background of the music video captures the streets of the Duryu Youth commercial district and was planned to be widely known as a landmark of the Daegu area and to be remembered by more people as complete pop music rather than the existing framework of the theme song. It will be revealed after the release.

In particular, ‘I Thought My Tears Were Dry’ is a new song that Lee Ye-jun is releasing after being selected as ‘Aurora Muse’, and various promotions will be held including providing an Aurora Muse album link tree that connects to 30 streaming sites in 249 countries.

Meanwhile, Danal Entertainment operates AURORA, a global music platform that allows anyone to release and distribute albums on music streaming platforms in 249 countries around the world, and is leading the way for domestic and foreign musicians to enter the global market.
