The group TWICE has pre-released part of the song ‘Magical’ from their 14th mini album ‘STRATEGY’.
The video creates a Christmas atmosphere with its sparkling melody and the members‘ magical visuals. The lyrics, “This is something magical The spell you have on me is supernatural Now you got me falling like the winter snow When you look at me it‘s something MAGIC Something magical”, add to the anticipation for the full song.
They are carrying out abundant promotions ahead of their comeback. On the 21st (local time), they became the first K-pop artists to appear on ’Amazon Music Live‘ and held a solo concert, proving their status as ’the top global girl group‘ by achieving the largest number of viewers ever on ’Amazon Music Live‘. Then, from the 23rd to the 24th, they held a pop-up store ’[TWICE “STRATEGY” POP-UP]‘ to commemorate the release of their new album at COMPLEX in Los Angeles, USA. Starting on the 22nd, a day before the opening, there was a line in front of the store, and all of the MD prepared for both days sold out, making it a huge success. The nine members visited the site in person to add to the excitement.
TWICE also had a meeting with fans without space or time constraints through ’TWICE Square‘, an immersive virtual world on the global platform Roblox. This Meet & Greet, which was held for about 15 minutes from 1:30 PM on the 23rd, allowed fans to communicate while playing games, and Twice Square recorded over 300,000 visits and 33,000 concurrent users, proving its immense popularity as the largest number of participants in the history of Artist Meet & Greet hosted by Roblox.
Twice will release their new mini-album ’STRATEGY‘ and the title song ’Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)‘ on December 6th at 2 PM (0:00 AM EST) and will finish the 2024 finale with a splendid performance. The title song features Megan Thee Stallion, a famous rapper who swept American popular music award ceremonies such as the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards.
