On the 25th, a production conference to commemorate the first broadcast of KBS2‘s new weekend drama ’Iron Family‘ was held. Director Sung Joon-hae and actors Kim Jung-hyun, Geum Sae-rok, Park Ji-young, Shin Hyun-joon, Kim Hye-eun, Choi Tae-joon, and Yang Hye-ji attended the event.
‘Iron Family’ (directed by Sung Joon-hae, Seo Yong-soo / written by Seo Sook-hyang) is a romantic black comedy about the family of Darim, who runs a ‘clean laundry shop’ and who iron money instead of clothes.
The story involves Seo Kang-joo (played by Kim Jung-hyun), the heir to Jiseung Group, his strict father Ji Seung-don (played by Shin Hyun-joon), the wife of Jiseung Group’s owner Baek Ji-yeon (played by Kim Hye-eun), the youngest daughter of the clean laundry shop, Lee Da-rim (played by Geum Sae-rok), the clean laundry shop‘s owner, Lee Da-rim’s mother Go Bong-hee (played by Park Ji-young), the clean laundry shop‘s part-timer Cha Tae-woong (played by Choi Tae-joon), and Lee Da-rim’s older sister Lee Cha-rim (played by Yang Hye-ji).
‘Iron Family’ will be the follow-up to ‘Beauty and Pure Man’ and will be first broadcast on the 28th (Sat) at 8 PM.
