Singer-songwriter Jung Jae-hyung is drawing attention with a pictorial shoot with fashion magazine ‘Elle’.

This pictorial captured the face of Jung Jae-hyung, who freely moves between ‘fairy’ and ‘artist’, and who is the most contemporary musician and YouTuber. Jung Jae-hyung, who took part in a pictorial shoot after a long time, led the scene with his unique, outstanding sense.

An interview followed. From his history in music starting with Basis, to his presence on entertainment programs, to becoming a YouTuber with 470,000 subscribers, he has various names. When asked what name he is called the most these days, he said, “I guess people talk a lot about my YouTube channel. I think the current generation will think of me with that image. I started it because I needed a place to make and promote music, but I didn‘t know it would grow this big. He said, “I’m grateful for the enthusiastic response.”

He continued, “Through ‘Fairy Table,’, I met various guests of all professions at the dinner table. It was an attempt to talk about my friends’ professional backgrounds and their filmography and discography that were created through countless worries. I enjoy getting to know people. If you prepare food and stories with sincerity, they give you sincere answers. At the same time, my world expands and is refreshed.”

He said that he recently gained strength and is planning to introduce a new corner called ‘Fairies and Music. “I want there to be a place for music on the channel, so I’m inviting all the people I really like. I invite musicians who can perform live and play instruments. From classical to jazz, Korean traditional music, and hip-hop, regardless of genre, I will try to unravel the knots of the music I like one by one, rather than the number of views,” he said, raising expectations.

Although we live in an era where tastes are fragmented, when we asked for some tips for young people who have a hard time finding their own tastes, he said, “I hope you don’t try to obtain your own taste all at once. Just because you input a certain taste doesn’t mean it becomes your taste. It’s entirely up to you what you choose, and if you want to see if it’s pretty, you have to go out and do it yourself. My taste is also something that has built up little by little.”

He still showed a boyish laugh of “Ahaha” throughout the interview, and when we asked him how Jung Jae-hyung is, saying, “Everyone dreams of being a “boy” for a long time, but I think that kind of childlikeness drives my work. It’s an emotion that needs to exist. He said, “I think I will remain the same while I am making music.”
