In the released pictorial, Kim Min-ha wears a black dress and adds to the atmosphere with makeup that reveals her signature freckles. She completes the pictorial with an autumn vibe with her deep eyes and innocent yet unique charm, drawing attention.
When asked about her thoughts on the release of Season 2, Kim Min-ha, who is receiving favorable reviews for her delicate and deep acting, answered, “There were times when I was nervous because the response to Season 1 was so good, but in the end, I just stayed true to the script and thought about how to show a different side from the last season, so I was able to focus more. Many people on set helped me out, so I was able to follow the flow of the show.”
“I watched the first episode with my mom and sister in the living room. They just said it was fun, but after Episode 4 came out, they said, ’Our daughter worked so hard.‘” He said, “I think he must have felt bad thinking about how hard it must have been on a hot day.”
When asked if he had prepared anything in advance to immerse himself in the drama, Kim Min-ha said, “Since the historical background is so clear, I studied historical facts. After that, I read novels and music written during that time. I had to immerse myself more into that ‘emotion.’ Also, since my grandmother lived during that time, I asked her a lot of questions. I vaguely remember my childhood, and she told me a lot of old stories when I was young, and I really loved those times.” He revealed his efforts to portray Seon-ja.
When asked about the most touching scene from Season 1 and 2, Kim Min-ha said, “There are many scenes that come to mind, but I clearly remember the scene we drew at the boarding house at the beginning of filming. We filmed in Andong for about two weeks, and the time I spent with my mom, Dong-hee, and Bok-hee, solidifying the character of Seon-ja, was really touching. I also enjoyed filming with my family. “The moments that express the narrative that builds up between the characters and each relationship are all precious and touching,” he answered. Then, about the most memorable line, he said, “When Seon-ja leaves the boarding house and hugs Dong-hee, she says, ‘But you have to live.’ It’s like a line that describes the character of Seon-ja in one sentence. It still remains in my heart even after several years.”
Meanwhile, when asked about her thoughts on the photo shoot, she said, “I think my self-esteem has gone up because everyone liked me. Kim Min-ha, who said, “I became more confident when posing, so I was able to try things boldly,” is set to meet audiences at the 29th Busan International Film Festival with the film ‘Disclosure: The Child Who Closed His Eyes’ and the Tving original series ‘A Week Before I Die’.
