The pictorial of the four members of the JTBC drama ‘Quiet Sales’, Kim So-yeon, Kim Sung-ryung, Kim Sun-young, and Lee Se-hee, has been released, drawing attention.

As it is a work that contains the story of women with their own stories who challenge themselves to become door-to-door salespeople for adult products in the 1990s, the pictorial shoot focused on wittily expressing the keyword ‘Saleswoman’.

The four actors showed a friendly atmosphere throughout the pictorial shoot. When Kim So-yeon said, “It feels different to be immersed in the drama filming and then come together for a pictorial shoot. I think our story will be wittily portrayed, so I am looking forward to it”, Kim Sung-ryung expressed her affection, saying, “I don‘t know why So-yeon is so fun and cute no matter what she does. I love how the women’s stories unfold. It is truly our splendid outing”. Kim Sun-young also did not hide her feelings, saying, “It is really meaningful that four women in their 30s to 50s are together like this. Since we have a lot in common, we became close quickly and there was great synergy.” Meanwhile, the youngest, Lee Se-hee, added, “I didn‘t know that working with such dependable older sisters would be so supportive. If even one of us left during filming, the empty spot would be immediately felt.”

When asked how they initially approached the core keyword of the work, “Adult Product Door-to-Door Salesperson,” everyone responded that it was refreshing and interesting. Kim Sung-ryung and Kim Sun-young each said, “Now this kind of topic can be dealt with in a drama. It seemed so fun,” and “As an actor, it is a joy in itself to be able to create new content. Through OTT, aren’t we already exposed to works of various levels and topics?” she said, expressing her anticipation, and Kim So-yeon expressed her satisfaction, saying, “When I saw the reactions of people around me who showed curiosity the moment they heard the topic, I felt that our work was gaining great strength from the beginning.” Lee Se-hee also did not hide her affection, saying, “There are some burdensome aspects, but I tried to focus more on how to act with my seniors on site. I had high expectations for filming.”

As the work depicts the friendship and growth of women in different situations, led by the ordinary and modest housewife Jeong-suk (Kim So-yeon), I asked if she had anything to say to contemporary women. Kim So-yeon said, “Even if you go through numerous trials and errors and failures, I hope you push forward if you think this is the right path. Even if the reward isn‘t right in front of you right away, it can come to you like an unexpected gift one day.” Kim Sung-ryung said, “From my perspective, I think my position is right. “Seeing from the other person’s perspective and developing understanding is a more important value in life than you think,” said Lee Se-hee, adding, “I think we’re all too strict with ourselves. I hope you treat yourself as you would support someone precious to you.” Kim Sun-young said she learns more from her conversations with her daughter, and shared part of the conversation, saying, “It would be good to think about what you like and want rather than what you’re good at.”
