‘Trot Fairy’ Jeon Yu-jin added the ‘Pictorial Fairy’ modifier.

Jeon Yu-jin, who filmed the December issue of @star1, showed off such a professional side that it was hard to believe that it was her first magazine pictorial.

If there are New Jeans in the K-pop world, there is ‘Eugenes’ in the trot world. With her refreshing and bubbly looks, Jeon Yu-jin made the entire nation cry with her sorrowful voice that pierced the heart, rewriting the history of trot auditions. After showing extraordinary potential by taking first place in the national vote for ‘Miss Trot 2’ for five consecutive weeks, she firmly established her name by winning the title of the first winner of ‘Current King of Singers’.

A sand sculpture of Jeon Yu-jin was even erected on Pohang Yeongil Beach. Jeon Yu-jin said about this, “I was selected as one of the five people who brought glory to Pohang. Former President Lee Myung-bak and athlete Hwang Hee-chan are among them, and I can‘t believe that my statue is standing next to them. It is truly an honor for my family,” expressing her emotions.

Jeon Yu-jin, who emerged like a comet after winning the grand prize at the Pohang Beach National Song Festival five years ago, said about how she started singing trot, “My father was crazy about ’Miss Trot 1.‘ Since my father only watched trot stages, I got jealous and wanted to monopolize his love, so I started singing.”

When asked if he had a role model, he mentioned Son Tae-jin, the winner of ’Burning Trotman,‘ and said, “I’m learning a lot from my brother. Although we have the commonality of coming first place on a competition program, I think we have a different dignity and depth as winners,” he said, expressing his respect.

He also showed special affection for Kim Da-hyun, known as his colleague and close friend. Jeon Yu-jin said, “She not only sings well, but her mindset is also professional. When a friend like her works hard, I can’t even imagine how much she will grow into a great singer. She is a younger sister who I can learn a lot from.”
