Ji Chang-wook “Every project is always a crisis... Acting=a dream and a headache” [Photoshoot]
A video interview with the editor-in-chief of Singles with actor Ji Chang-wook has been released. As the first protagonist of Singles Japan, he shared stories about his acting philosophy along with the Balance Game, revealing his comfortable and honest charm.
Ji Chang-wook created a pleasant atmosphere by honestly answering questions from the Balance Game conducted prior to the interview, such as “Being friends with your ideal type for life VS breaking up with your ideal type after dating for a year, a door that never closes vs. a door that takes 30 minutes to open and close”.
In response to the question, ‘What is acting to Ji Chang-wook?’, he said, “It‘s my job, my ambition, and also a headache.” He said, “There has never been a single easy time while working. Every project has always been difficult, a crisis, and a crisis. That’s why I think acting is my favorite dream but also a headache,“ he said, expressing his deep affection for acting.
When asked about his charm that no one knows about, he said, ”I don‘t look like that, but I’m sincere. I thought that the only way to do this for a long time was to be consistent, so isn‘t that my charm that no one knows about?“
Lastly, when asked what page he is currently on if he were to compare his life to an autobiography, Ji Chang-wook said, ”I’m about 1/3 of the way through. In an era where people live to be 100, I think it‘s exactly 1/3 of the way through. I also have expectations that there might be another life for me after this.“
