Ive “I will show greater growth this year, I will live diligently” [Photoshoot]
Group Ive pledged greater leap forward and growth in 2025.
On the 15th, fashion and lifestyle magazine Cosmopolitan released a pictorial and interview with Ive, the main character of the February cover.
Ive, who reunited with Cosmopolitan after two years, stood in front of the camera looking much more mature. The members skillfully displayed various expressions and poses throughout the shoot, creating high-quality results in every cut. Even though the shoot lasted all day, they impressed the on-site staff by consistently showing a bright and professional attitude.
Through his first world tour ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’ last year, Ive successfully promoted Ive‘s music and the charm of K-pop by touring 28 cities in 19 countries including Asia, the Americas, Europe, and South America. In particular, they set a record for the fourth largest girl group in history by mobilizing an audience of 440,000 people.
When asked if she feels that they are growing as they move to larger stages, Jang Won-young said, “Actually, I don’t think that the size of the stage is proportional to the size of the love that fans give us. Rather than the scale, I feel that we have been moving forward looking in the same direction as our fans since our debut. In particular, I receive the greatest strength when I communicate with our fans,” showing her mature side.
Lee Seo also said, “I want to grow more this year so that I can repay the love of my fans. I will work hard this year to show you an improved side of myself,” expressing her feelings about the new year and her energetic determination.
They also talked about Ive’s third EP album, ‘Ive Empathy’, which is scheduled to be released on February 3. Ga Eul said, “I think this trailer video did a good job of covering the theme of ‘empathy’. In the video, he explained, “We all have different interests, and we’re learning how to understand each other when we still can‘t empathize with each other.”
On the 13th, the pre-released title song ‘REBEL HEART’ was released. Ahn Yu-jin said, “This is it! It’s finally come to us! I liked it so much that I thought that,” and Jang Won-young said, “It‘s a song that everyone can relate to. The music video also has all six of our characters set. We all expressed different selves, and there are parts of that that are projected into the song.”
